Hi everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend and a safe one, if your state was on the path of winter storm Jonas. In New York City we definitely received a lot of snow and after a complete 24 hours of snowfall, plus being stuck at home, I just had to go out and explore my neighborhood.
I love wearing Jeans during the winter because I can wear leggings under them and they help keep me warm, so I wore my favorite pair of dark wash jeans from Express which are so soft and comfortable. I paired my dark wash jeans with my Black sweater from Banana Republic, which fits nice and snug but also, has the perfect amount of looseness to it. I may or may not have this sweater in two other colors by the way; that’s how much I love it! I got my Oldnavy toggle coat last winter and I absolutely love it because it can be used formally and also for everyday wear, it seriously goes perfect with almost any outfit. Since my outfit was already very dark, with the addition of my cute pom-pom beanie; I needed to add a pop of color, so I completed my look by wearing my red Hunter rain boots and my red Kate Spade mini purse (which may be small but holds just enough). I think having a pair of colored Hunter rain boots is great. During the winter season we tend to wear darker colors but I think it’s awesome to add some color to your style, to help liven your look. Not to mention these Hunter rain boots came in handy in helping me trek through all the large mountains of snow and also the deep puddles of melted snow. These Hunter rain boots are definitely going to be a staple item in my winter wardrobe. What is your staple winter wardrobe item? Let me know in the comments below I might add one of your items to my closet.
Have a great week! Xo
Hi
great that you survived the Blizzard 🙂 You look so wonderful with your beanie on the head and the Hunters on your feet. And you look so sweet.
Regards from the old world (with no snow at all ;-( )
