After a long, stressful week full of writing papers and a lot of sleepless nights, I was finally able to relax this weekend. What better way to relax than by wearing some of the most comfiest and coziest clothes in your closet? Well, that is exactly what I did! One of my favorite clothing items to wear during the fall and winter are big, thick, oversized sweaters to keep me nice and warm. Can you believe this beautiful Cream Turtleneck sweater I’m wearing from Forever 21 is only $20?! This turtleneck sweater is so unbelievably warm and soft! I love it because my neck stays warm but, also, I love the fact that it is long enough to cover my butt. This turtleneck sweater is a very simple yet versatile piece which can be worn a bit laid back with leggings, a bit more elegant with jeans/pants or simply just wear it while you are at home relaxing, wearing a pair of knee high socks, and have a nice warm cup of coffee in your hand. 😉
Since I went out this weekend I wore this turtleneck sweater with some dark wash jeggings. Jeggings are great because they are still considered and look like jeans. Jeggings are thinner and more stretchy than jeans making them much more comfortable to wear. Who doesn’t want to be comfortable and still look great? I thought it would be great to pair this look with these tall chestnut colored, Dolce Vita boots I found at Nordstrom Rack and this red crossbody purse from Oldnavy (which I used as a clutch) to give my look a pop of color. Oversized sweaters and tall boots are a classic. Everyone should have at least one Turtleneck sweater in his or her wardrobe. Do you already own one?
