Hello, Everyone. Welcome to my first blog post! 🙂 If you live in New York you know that the weather here is unpredictable. One day it can completely feel like Winter and then the next day it can feel like summer. Slowly, but surely New York has been transitioning from Summer to Fall. With the hot days coming to an end and the colder days approaching, I am still not fully ready to leave the warmer days completely behind. The leafs on the trees are changing colors and the days are getting chillier but that does not mean that you are no longer allowed to wear a dress.

This weekend, before the cold starts to get completely unbearable, I wore this beautiful, bright royal blue dress and added a twist, to make it appropriate for the Fall weather. I paired this royal blue dress with black knee-high socks to protect my legs from the chilly wind along with some black combat boots. On my head I wore a Winter bucket hat which I find perfect for the chilly days of Fall because it protects your face and ears from the wind. Of course, I could not leave my Tory Burch Tote behind.

Other ways in which you can wear a dress for the colder days of Fall & Winter (if you can tolerate the cold well, unlike me) are by wearing multiple layers of clothing such as scarves, a cardigan, a sweater, a pullover or vest. Also, you can wear a pantyhose, tights, or, you can even be a part of the cool knee-high boots trend and pair it with your dress. I must admit though, Fall is one of my favorite seasons and I cannot wait to start wearing warmer and cozier outfits once the cold is here for good! What is your favorite season?
